We offer a wide variety of hunts to accommodate all types of hunters. Tree stands and still hunting are the primary methods for harvesting great whitetails. Turkey hunts are from various types of blinds, which has resulted in some excellent birds. Our guides are experienced and dedicated in bringing you the best hunting experience possible!
Whitetail Hunts (Archery Only)
- Season: September 11th through Dec. 31st
- Rate: Six day semi-guided $4000
- Non-Trophy Fee - Any 8-point under 140 or 10-
point under 160 that is shot carries a $1,000
additional fee. This fine does not apply to any mature deer (4 yrs old or older)
Turkey Hunts (Shotgun/Archery - two bird limit)
- Season: April 1 - April 12 (archery only) and early youth; April 13th through May 31st (general season)
- Rate: Three day semi-guided: 2 birds - $1100
** All deer/turkey hunts include lodging and meals
** Fully guided hunts are $100 per day extra
Pope & Young (140" or better) success in 2013 was great, with 90% shot opportunity and 60% of our hunters harvesting bucks. The average score of these animals was 162" P/Y.
Non-Resident Application & License Information
ALL Whitetail permits are issued on a drawing basis. The permits are $442.50 per person. The application deadline is April 29th. Turkey permits are available over the counter. They are $32.50 for the first and $22.50 for the second permit. Non-resident hunting licenses are $97.50 and can be purchased locally.
All hunters born on or after July 1, 1957 must carry a Hunters Education (Safety) Card with them while hunting.
